Regional Planning Commissions in Kansas

In 1987 Nancy McCabe produced a report focused on examining regional planning commissions and their role in economic development across the state.   The information presented included the results of interviews McCabe conducted with each operating RPC at the time along with observations she and others had from their positions within the Kansas Department of Economic Development (KDED).  That report can be seen here in its entirety.

While insightful in its descriptions, the report did little to change how the state perceived or used RPCs after its publication.
